Public Opinion Quarterly seeks submissions for
a special issue of the journal devoted to an examination of the 2012 election.
The issue is scheduled to be published in January, 2014.
We invite
contributions on all topics related to the 2012 election, and we especially
welcome submissions that are both substantive and methodological in nature.
Potential topics might include (but are not limited to): the performance of
pre-election and exit polls; the impact of new technologies on election
polling; measurement issues in evaluating policy attitudes; the estimation of
campaign effects, including the impact of new and old media; and the
implications of early voting and voter identification laws for election
polling.
